Acquired a work by Andrea Benetti in the Quirinale Art Collection

ITA  Italiano

On March 9, 2012 the work entitled "Caccia VII" (oil and henna and acrylic on canvas - cm 50 x 100 - 2010) was acquired in the Quirinale Art Collection. Wanted by the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano and the Councilor for the conservation of the artistic heritage of the Presidency of the Republic, Professor Louis Godart was acquired in an entirely "exceptional" way (as specified in one of the letters sent between the Andrea Benetti Archive and the Presidency of the Republic) since the two art collections present at the Quirinale are of ancient and modern art. Andrea Benetti is therefore among the first contemporaries to be collected from the prestigious state collection.
