"Andrea Benetti: Neourpestre painting" curated by Gregorio Rossi

ITA  Italiano

The editorial work is published by the Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America and is curated by Gregorio Rossi. The volume "Neorupestre painting" is now present in various museums and institutions, including the MamBo library in Bologna. The book traces the basic lines to understand the thought that animates Neorupestre painting and the ideas that pushed Andrea Benetti to draw up and present at the 53rd Venice Art Biennale, the Manifesto of Neoupestre Art, which is located inside of the publication. The return to origins and zeroing are symbols that Benetti uses to propose a "restart" of humanity, taking note of the failure in which the extreme phalanx of consumerism has ruined us. The symbolic zeroing in art, depicted by the bolognese painter, inevitably leads us to a return to cave painting.

The catalog is titled "La pittura Neorupestre" by Andrea Benetti
