LXI Michetti Prize, entitled "Italian diorama" by Carlo Fabrizio Carli. The International Contemporary Art Prize, named after Francesco Paolo Michetti, which takes place every year since 1947 in Francavilla a Mare, is among the most prestigious and long-lived Italian contemporary art exhibitions. Participation, like the Venice Biennale is by invitation. In 2010, to crown a year full of successes, Andrea Benetti was invited to the Michetti Prize. Andrea Benetti presented himself with three works, all three in the catalog, favoring the abstract part of Neorupestre painting. Recall that the most important names of the artists of the second half of the twentieth century came out of this art exhibition. The same and perhaps more, can be said of the curators of the prize, who were certainly the most important names in the artistic criticism of the second half of the century. From Bonito Oliva to Barilli, passing through Stefano Zecchi and Beatrice Buscaroli, Philippe Daverio, Carlo Fabrizio Carli, Enrico Crispolti, Maurizio Calvesi...
